Abhishek Gurunathan

Abhishek Gurunathan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Smartsheet since November 2017, Abhishek has held various roles including Director Of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager. Prior to Smartsheet, Abhishek worked at WideOrbit where significant contributions included launching new products in the programmatic TV industry and managing engineering teams. Abhishek's career began at Microsoft, where a range of impactful projects included architecting backend services for Bing Rewards and implementing systems that drastically improved revenue issue detection. Abhishek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
