Nic Lauer

Nic Lauer is currently the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at Smartsheet. Prior to this, they were with Blucora for five years, during which time they served as Vice President - FP&A. In this role, they provided financial leadership critical to Blucora's successful strategic transformation, securing more than $1B in aggregate debt financing and deploying capital in excess of $1B in the process. Nic was also responsible for company-wide consolidated financials, collaborating with business unit FP&A teams.

Before their time with Blucora, Nic Lauer spent twelve years with Infospace, where they rose to the role of Director / Senior Director - FP&A. Nic started their career in 1999 with Go2Net as Finance.

Nic Lauer's educational career consists of a BA in finance from Western Washington University.
