Aria Bahawdory

Aria Bahawdory has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Aria is currently working as the Director of MRO Account Management at SmartSky Networks, LLC since September 2021. Prior to their current role, they held the same position at the same company.

From 2019 to 2021, Bahawdory worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Greenwich AeroGroup.

Before that, from 2013 to 2019, they worked at FDS Avionics Corp. as a Mid-Market Sales Manager. During their time at FDS Avionics Corp., they also held the position of IFE Project Manager and Technical Sales Consultant, where their responsibilities included overseeing projects related to wireless entertainment systems and cabin management systems, as well as supporting the sales team. This role required close interaction with the engineering, R&D, sales, and marketing teams.

From 2009 to 2013, Bahawdory served as the Flight Operations Manager at ImagineAir.

Their work experience also includes a role as an ABH in the US Navy from 1992 to 1996.

Aria Bahawdory pursued their education in a chronological manner. Aria first attended Lenoir Community College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Aviation Management. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Mount Olive from 1998 to 2000, completing their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. In terms of additional certifications, Aria obtained their FAA Commercial Pilot license in January 2001, and earlier in April 1998, they earned their FAA Commercial Pilot license with an Instrument rating from the Federal Aviation Administration.
