Alex Giangrande

Alex Giangrande serves as the Director of Construction & Development at SmartStop Self Storage since September 2022. Previously, Alex held the title of Director of Construction at Store Space Self Storage from February 2022 to September 2022 and was a Senior Project Manager at ODEN ∙ HARDY CONSTRUCTION, INC. from January 2020 to February 2022, overseeing multiple projects across the Midwest, Southeast, and South Central regions. With extensive experience in project management, Alex has managed complex developments at various companies including Wichman Construction and Insurance Auto Auctions, where responsibilities encompassed budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiation, and field supervision across diverse sectors such as high-rise, hotels, retail, and residential projects. Alex earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an Associate in Architecture from Triton College.
