Iñigo Valenzuela

Iñigo Valenzuela began their career in 1992 as a Controller at Trapsa. In 1995, they moved to Viajes Marsans, where they served as an Adjunct to the Managing Director, managing budgets and controlling labor costs. In 2001, they became the Country Manager for the TMC Division of Viajes Marsans and HRG Spain, leading the team to become the market leader in Business Travel in Spain. In 2010, Iñigo moved to Carlson Wagonlit Travel as the Commercial Director, where they developed a change management strategy to reposition the company in the market. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an External Consultant for Sabre Corporation, helping to develop a business plan for the Spanish market. From 2013 to 2018, Iñigo was the Chief Commercial Officer at TINSA, where they achieved a +30% EBITDA and -18% reduction in Commercial Costs on Sales Ratio. Finally, in 2012, Iñigo became the CEO and Founder of Smartvel, a B2B SaaS IT StartUp focused in Digital Marketing Content Solutions.

Iñigo Valenzuela's educational history began with their attendance at Retamar from 1977 to 1985. Iñigo then attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1986 to 1990, where they studied Economics. In 1999, they attended a Seminar at IMD. From 2002 to 2003, they attended IESE Business School and completed the Programme of Managing Director in the field of PDG. Finally, from 2010 to 2011, they attended IE Business School for the Aula de Dirigentes.
