Ide Advokaat has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. They are currently working as the CFO at Smartwares Group since February 2019. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Philips Lighting and Philips. At Philips Lighting, they held various roles including Head of Business Transformation Business Group Home from May 2015 to January 2019, and Head of Finance Business Group Home, Vice President from January 2012 to January 2019. At Philips, they held several finance-related positions such as Controller Business Group Domestic Appliances, Vice President, Consumer Lifestyle division from July 2008 to December 2011, and Controller Business Unit MRI Systems, Senior Director, Healthcare division from October 2005 to June 2008. They also served as the Finance Global Process Owner, Senior Director, Healthcare division from April 2003 to September 2005 and as the Finance Director, Components division from January 2001 to March 2003. Prior to that, they held various controller and assistant controller roles in different divisions of Philips.
Ide Advokaat obtained their Master of Science degree in Econometrics from the University of Groningen. Ide completed their studies from 1988 to 1994.
