Richard Burns

Richard Burns has over 15 years of experience in the software industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Software Developer at Alphameric. In 2006, they moved to Aligned Assets as a Software Developer. In 2009, they co-founded Amico Software, a product and bespoke software development company based in the UK and South Africa. In 2012, they co-founded Zinc Software and served as Chief Architect of ZincNet\u00ae, the leading worldwide Channel Productivity Cloud. In 2017, they joined Mars Capital as a Technical Lead. In 2018, they became a Partner at Engage Marketing, an award-winning specialist B2B marketing communications consultancy. Finally, in 2020, they joined Smartwyre as Lead Software Engineer for the UK Team.

Richard Burns attended the University of Portsmouth from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a BSc in Computer Sciences (Hons) with a focus in Computer Science.
