David Lilierose

As Chief Financial Officer, David Lilierose’s responsibilities are focused on the development, finance, accounting, tax, and risk management aspects of all hotel investment, development and ongoing operations of SMASHotels and its affiliates. Mr. Lilierose has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate industry relating to development, operation and management of hotels, multifamily, office, retail, restaurants and industrial properties with a market value in excess of $350 million, as well as the application of managerial and finance technology to operate most effectively.

Mr. Lilierose also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ECD Company, an affiliate of SMASHotels and founded by its principals, which he joined in 1983. Prior to joining ECD Company, Mr. Lilierose worked at Coopers & Lybrand, Certified Public Accountants, and held the position of Senior Accountant. At Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Lilierose’s diverse audit experience included manufacturing, oil & gas, retail and governmental entities. Mr. Lilierose is a Certified Public Accountant who received his Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
