Neil Coleman

Neil Coleman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk governance, compliance, and operational excellence. Currently serving as the Governance and Risk Program Manager at SMBC MANUBANK, Neil focuses on fostering a robust culture of risk governance while mentoring team members. Previously, Neil held various leadership roles at TCF Bank, including Vice President and Quality Assurance Manager, where responsibilities included regulatory compliance and collaboration with legal and business stakeholders. Neil's earlier experience includes significant positions at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where management of a large team was a key responsibility, as well as roles in political research and writing, including contributions to The New York Times. Neil holds a Doctor of Law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Minnesota.
