Firdaus Zakaria

Firdaus Zakaria currently serves as the Head of Independent Investment at SME Bank Malaysia, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Firdaus was the Head of the Equity Investment Department and also a Senior Analyst at Perbadanan Nasional Berhad from April 2012 to September 2022. Additional experience includes a position as a Sell-side Analyst at M&A Securities Sdn Bhd and as an Assistant Manager in Equity Investment at Global Maritime Ventures Berhad. Earlier in Firdaus's career, a role as an Executive in Corporate & Strategic Planning was held at Maybank Investment Banking Group. Firdaus holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Diploma in Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
