Philip Fontes

Philip Fontes is an accomplished industrial engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing and process improvement across various sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Industrial Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer at Villara Building Systems and Villara Energy since March 2019, Fontes focuses on energy-efficient home-building infrastructure and innovative HVAC solutions. In addition to this role, Fontes has been an Academic Liaison for the Sacramento Valley SME Professional Society since 2013, enhancing communication between professional and student chapters. Previous experience includes significant roles at TSI Semiconductors America, Siemens, and General Motors, where Fontes contributed to manufacturing process development and quality management. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
