Mauro Sanfilippo

Mauro Sanfilippo is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at smeup since January 2012, where responsibilities include linking technology with business and overseeing innovation and product development. Sanfilippo has held positions such as General Manager of smeup LAB, R&D Manager, and Technology Lead, along with mentoring startups and managing technology committees. As a member of the IBM Advisory Council and a recognized IBM Champion, Sanfilippo actively engages in sharing knowledge through speaking events, including sessions at IBM TechXchange and Codemotion conferences. Prior experience includes founding wegreen srl, consulting through CTRL-S, and contributing to companies such as Smea and SicoSoftware. Sanfilippo holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Brescia.
