Kay Kalunga Kabwe

Kay Kalunga Kabwe has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the field of information technology. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Telecommunications Technician at Mido Engineering Limited. In 2011, they moved on to become a Network Engineer and Telecoms Specialist at Ndola Lime Company Limited. After that, in 2014, they worked as an Information Technology Supervisor at Cargill. In 2015, they became a Senior Executive in Information Technology at iSON BPO, where they were responsible for managing various aspects of IT infrastructure and systems. In 2017, they joined inq. digital as a Service Delivery Account Manager, focusing on customer relationship management and value capture plans. In 2021, they transitioned to Atlas Mara Zambia, where they held the role of Country Manager for IT Service Management. Currently, they are employed at SMG - Service Management Group as a Jira Developer and Automation Engineer.

Kay Kalunga Kabwe obtained a Bachelor's Degree in IT Security from SMC University, which was completed between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, in 2009, Kay achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from the Cisco Networking Academy. From 2004 to 2006, Kay attended the Zambia University College of Technology, where they studied Telecommunication Systems, with a focus on computer networking, radio systems, computer programming, and advanced math.

In terms of additional certifications, Kay obtained the Strategic Cybersecurity Management certification from AttackIQ in November 2022. In September 2022, they also earned the Jira Service Management Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian. Other certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2021, Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in January 2021, IT Service Management from Master of Project Academy in May 2020, and PMP® Certification Training Course from Master of Project Academy in August 2019.
