Laura Keating

Laura Keating has over 25 years of legal experience, beginning as a trainee solicitor at Sintons LLP in 1995. Laura then worked as a lawyer at various firms in London, including Kennedys and Beachcroft LLP, before joining Watmores solicitors in 2005 as an insurance litigator. In 2006, Laura moved to Morgan Cole solicitors in Bristol as a lawyer until 2009.

In 2015, Laura joined Cerner Corporation as a Lead Contract Manager, negotiating complex vendor contracts globally. Laura remained with Cerner until 2018.

Since 2018, Laura has been working at SMG - Service Management Group, starting as a Senior Manager, Commercial Contracts, where they focused on software licensing and advised on business issues such as data privacy and intellectual property. Recently, they were promoted to the position of Director, Legal in July 2022.

Laura Keating received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Newcastle University. Laura also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, York, England.
