Marwan Elahmar

Marwan Elahmar's work experience begins in 2004 when they worked as a Tech consultant at Global Technology Solution until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Database Administrator at Imex Systems Inc. Then, they joined The Ontario Telemedicine Network in 2011 as a Lead Database Administrator and worked there until 2017. Currently, since 2017, Marwan is working as a Database Administrator at SMG - Service Management Group.

Marwan Elahmar obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Lebanese University, completing their education from 1996 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Marwan has acquired various credentials from different institutions. Marwan became a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 in July 2023 and obtained the Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate and Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certifications from Databricks in May 2023. Additionally, Marwan received the Academy Accreditation - Platform Administrator and Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals certifications from Databricks in March 2023 and February 2023, respectively. Furthermore, Marwan obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp in November 2022 and acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certifications from Microsoft between June 2022 and November 2022. Lastly, Marwan obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022 and acquired several leadership and technical certifications from LinkedIn, including "Be the Manager People Won't Leave," "Growing Your Skills as a Leader," "How to Build Credibility as a Leader," "How to Give Negative Feedback to Senior Colleagues," "Leadership Mindsets," "Learning SnowflakeDB," and "Presenting to Senior Executives" in April 2022.
