Matthew McBee

Matthew McBee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Matthew started their career in 2006 as a Research and Evaluation Specialist at the University of North Carolina System. Matthew then moved on to work as a Statistician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008.

In 2011, McBee joined East Tennessee State University as an Assistant Professor and later became an Associate Professor of Psychology. Matthew worked there until 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, they worked at the Eastman Chemical Company as a Principal Data Scientist in the AI/ML group.

Currently, Matthew McBee serves as the VP of Research and Analytics at SMG - Service Management Group. In May 2023, they will transition into the role of VP of Data Science at the same company.

Matthew McBee obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Tennessee Technological University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Educational Psychology at The University of Georgia from 2002 to 2006.
