Mitchell Jarvis

Mitchell Jarvis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mitchell began their career as a Seminar Integration Specialist at Success Video in 1988, where they managed technical equipment setup and teardown for sales seminars. In 1989, they joined Commercial Monetary Development as the Director of IT, focusing on product development and software design.

From 1991 to 2008, Mitchell served as the Chief Technical Officer at Educational Resources, Inc. (now Acend Learning), where they developed knowledge assessments and admission exams, implemented computer adaptive tests, and oversaw branding and web development.

In 2009, Mitchell became a self-employed IS Contractor, providing content and system design development for commercial websites, establishing cloud-based computing, and implementing security systems. Mitchell joined InkCycle in 2010 as an Information System Specialist, responsible for maintaining information system data and improving the ERP system.

Currently, Mitchell is a Senior Solutions Developer at Service Management Group. In this role, they collaborate with project teams and clients to determine project specifications, create and maintain database objects, and perform programming tasks according to project requirements.

Mitchell Jarvis began their education journey in 1982 at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they pursued undergraduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Mitchell completed their undergraduate studies in 1985.

Following that, Mitchell enrolled at the University of Central Missouri in 1985. Mitchell spent three years at the university and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1988.

After a significant gap in their education, Mitchell decided to continue their learning by enrolling at Johnson County Community College in 2003. Mitchell pursued Continuing Education at the college for a period of nine years, until 2012. During this time, they focused on various fields of study including Database Management, Project Management, and Web Applications.

In addition to their formal education, Mitchell holds a certification as a Certified Adobe Web Architect from Adobe. However, specific details regarding the date of certification acquisition are not provided.
