Jenny Shaw

Jenny Shaw, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at SMI since February 2015, leads the organization's long-term commercial strategies, entrepreneurial growth, and responsible management of P&L in both public and private sectors. With over 20 years of expertise in fibre optics, particularly in interconnect and cable infrastructure, Jenny has held various key roles at SMI, including Commercial Director and General Manager for Sales & Marketing. Jenny's prior experience includes significant positions at Cicorel Ltd, Tyco Electronics, and Wren Electronics Ltd, highlighting a strong background in sales and marketing within the fibre optics industry. Additionally, Jenny contributed to Women in Defence UK, focusing on gender diversity and networking. Academically, Jenny holds various qualifications, including being a Chartered Engineer and Fellow Chartered Marketer.
