Alex Cheng

Alex Cheng is an experienced professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Director at SMIC since June 2002. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Senior Manager at SSMC from 2000 to 2002 and worked in various capacities at Chartered Semiconductor from 1991 to 2000, including Litho R&D Manager and TD Litho Manager. Additionally, Alex served as a CE Account Manager for the Europe Region at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company from March 1993 to May 1994. Alex Cheng earned a Doctorate in Business Administration from Zhejiang University between 2008 and 2010.
