Ayman Salame has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with over 20 years of experience. Ayman most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at Smile Communications Nigeria Limited starting in November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at MTN as an ICT/M2M Project Manager from March 2014 to December 2017. Ayman also worked at Aircom International as a Senior Project Manager at MTNA from July 2012 to December 2013. Ayman began their career at Spacetel Guinee S.A. in 1999 as the Head of IN section and remained there until January 2005.
Ayman Salame received an MS degree in Computer Science & Networking from the National Aviation University, where they studied from 1987 to 1994. Ayman also obtained several certifications, including Agile Project Management, Learning PRINCE2, Project Management Foundations, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam Preparation, and others from LinkedIn. Additionally, Ayman obtained certifications in M2M BSS and Core management from ZTE Corporation in 2015, and acquired project management and Microsoft certifications in 2007 from Learning Tree International and Microsoft, respectively.
