Wayne Stocks

Wayne Stocks has a long and varied work experience in the financial and technology industries. In 2008, they began their career as Finance Director at TAMEER. Wayne then moved to Russian Mining Consulting in 2009, where they acted as COO. In 2011, they co-founded Liberty GTL, where they served as Director. In 2012, they became Director of Narborough Craft. In 2013, they served as Director and co-founder of Stocks & Strauss (Pty) Ltd, as well as Director of Orientis Venture Capital. In 2015, they became Managing Director - Channel at JUMO.WORLD. In 2018, they took on the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations at Smile Identity. In 2019, they became Non Executive Chairman at Digemy. Finally, in 2020, they became Partner at Stocks and Strauss Fund Manager, the fund manager and general partner of the University Technology Fund.

Wayne Stocks completed their Honours Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Financial Accounting and Management from Stellenbosch University in 1999. Wayne then continued their education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they are currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting.
