Tanzi Merritt

Tanzi Merritt, MLS, brings a diverse range of experience in marketing, communications, and project management, currently serving as the BizList Editor for Business Lexington Magazine at Smiley Pete Publishing since January 2015. In addition, Tanzi has worked as a freelance writer and consultant specializing in marketing, event planning, project management, and nonprofit organization strategies. Recent positions include Project Manager at Fahe and Communications Director at the Lexington Art League. Previous roles encompass marketing and communications management at Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, and digital communications at God's Pantry Food Bank. Tanzi's early career included sales and marketing coordination at Metaformers and CirrusMio, as well as senior project management and library services at TAG Lexington and Gateway Community and Technical College.
