Joseph Staak

Joseph Staak is a Partner at Smith Currie & Hancock LLP, with a professional journey beginning in July 1981. Staak is a member of the Bars of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and the District of Columbia, and holds certification in Construction Law from the Florida Bar. Prior to joining the firm, Staak served as a Construction Engineer in the USAF from October 1974 to August 1978, stationed at Dyess AFB in Texas and Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law (1978-1981) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1970-1974).
