Richard Banham

Richard Banham is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Partner at Smith Square Partners since September 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of Investment Director at GIL Investments Ltd from 2010 to September 2023. Richard's earlier experience includes roles as Associate Director in Corporate Finance at KBC Peel Hunt (2009-2010) and Landsbanki (2007-2008), as well as an Associate in Corporate Finance at Bridgewell (2004-2007). Richard began a career in finance at Deloitte, focusing on Transaction Services and Audit from 2000 to 2003. Richard holds a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Warwick, obtained between 1997 and 2000, and is a member of the ICAEW from 2000 to 2003.
