Renee Hahne

Renee Hahne serves as the Business Development Manager for North America at Smithers since August 2019, bringing extensive experience in environmental consulting and business development. As the President and Owner of Applied Environmental Solutions since 2006, Renee successfully established a woman-owned firm focusing on wetland management, stream, and stormwater monitoring, securing a $50K yearly subcontractor project. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at Eurofins Agroscience Services, where a 21% sales increase was achieved and $3M revenue was generated from existing customers. Early career experience includes serving as an Environmental Specialist at MEC Water Resources, recognized for developing Best Management Practices, and as a Scientist-Study Director at Eurofins Agroscience Services, overseeing aquatic toxicity studies. Renee holds a B.S. in Water Resources with a dual major in Fisheries and Limnology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
