Suguna Kulasekaram

Suguna Kulasekaram is an experienced chemist and laboratory manager currently serving as Principal Chemist and Laboratory Manager at Smithers since July 2020. Prior roles include Laboratory Manager and Technical Lead at Eurofins Forensic Services, overseeing workplace drug testing, and Senior Instrument Specialist/Purity Team Leader positions at both Eurofins Forensic Services and LGC Forensics. Suguna also worked as an Analytical Chemist at Drug Delivery Solutions and has held various positions in quality control, stability analysis, and scientific management across several organizations including Sun Chemical, Martindale Pharma, and Custom Pharmaceuticals. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Forensic Science and Technology from the University of Staffordshire, a Master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Surrey, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution, complimented by A-level qualifications from Graveney Sixth Form.
