Annie Chiang

Annie Chiang is an architectural designer and associate at SmithGroup, with extensive experience since October 2015 on projects such as the transformation of the Sharp Healthcare Chula Vista Medical Center Emergency Department and various medical office buildings for UC San Diego Health. Previously, Annie served as a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon, where responsibilities included coordinating LEED certification for campus buildings. Additional experience includes work as a researcher at the NetZed Case Study Lab monitoring energy use in affordable housing, an intern at PIVOT Architecture, and a sustainability consultant at Vaha Sustainable Energy. Annie also interned at Global Green USA, focusing on solar policy initiatives. Annie holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon College of Design and a BA in Anthropology and Geography with a focus on Environmental Studies from UCLA.
