Emma Noraian

Civil Engineer I

Emma Noraian is a Civil Engineer I at SmithGroup, with experience in preparing construction-level documents for diverse projects and assisting in the management of habitat restoration initiatives. Prior to this role, Emma contributed as a researcher in the Loheide Hydroecology Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and served as a Development Services Intern at Kimley-Horn. Emma has also held a coaching position with the University High School Speech Team. Academically, Emma is pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering Hydrology & Hydraulics and Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering and a double major in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Educational experiences include a study abroad semester at the University of Limerick and participation in a Watershed Ecology program through The School for Field Studies.
