Prior to this role, James was an Associate and Landscape Architect at SmithGroupJJR from June 2004 to May 2015, holding professional designations as ASLA and LEED AP BD+C. James holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Michigan State University, completed in 2004, and has further education from Eastern Michigan University.
