Becky Kobberod

Becky Kobberod is currently the Head of Digital Transformation at the Smithsonian Institution. Becky has over 17 years of experience in digital marketing, project management, and web development.

Becky started their career in 2004 as the Brand & Web Content Manager for Dawson McAllister Association. In this role, they managed the brand identity and web presence for the company.

In 2009, they transitioned to Colbert Media Group as a Digital Consultant. In this role, they provided digital marketing consulting services to clients in a variety of industries.

In 2010, they joined Trinet Internet Solutions as a Project Manager. Trinet is a full-service digital agency that specializes in website development, mobile development, email marketing, social media marketing, and SEO/SEM management.

In 2012, Becky joined TMP Government as the Senior Digital Project Manager. In this role, they led digital development, integration, and implementation efforts for programs supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and additional government clients.

In 2014, Becky joined The Nature Conservancy as the Director of Global Digital. The Nature Conservancy is a global nonprofit organization that works to protect land and water resources. As the Director of Global Digital, Becky led a team of 25+ digital marketing experts to create and execute a global digital strategy that best advanced the Conservancy's mission.

Becky has been instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives at all of their previous companies. Becky is a strategic thinker with a passion for using technology to solve problems and improve processes.

Becky Kobberod has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The George Washington University.
