Jennifer Mannix

Jennifer Mannix currently serves as a Management and Program Analyst at the Smithsonian Institution since July 2025. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked as a Program Analyst at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement from January 2023 to July 2025. Jennifer also held the position of Solution Engineer at Esri, where responsibilities included leading pre-sales support for 29 agencies within the United States Department of Agriculture, focusing on developing technical GIS solutions for critical agricultural and environmental challenges. Jennifer's experience as a Geospatial Developer & Analyst at New Light Technologies involved projects utilizing geospatial and remotely sensed data to address global trends. Jennifer began a career in academics as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University, where educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geography and a GIS Certificate, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Geography.
