Lauren Augustine is a highly experienced professional in herpetology, currently serving as the Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians at the Philadelphia Zoo since March 2022. With a long tenure at the Smithsonian Institution as a Wild Animal Keeper in the Department of Herpetology since August 2011, Augustine also holds the position of President at The Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders, which champions salamander conservation and promotes sustainable practices through the sale of reusable chopsticks.
