Marc Eimers

Marc Eimers currently serves as the Assistant Director of Principal Gifts at the Smithsonian Institution, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, extensive experience was gained at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park from December 2014 to July 2022, progressing through various positions including Major Gifts Officer and Senior Institutional Relations Manager. Earlier career roles included development positions at WorldDenver and the Biennial of the Americas, along with experience as an AR Clerk at Flatirons Practice Management. Marc Eimers earned a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
