Rebecca Krohn Kokinda

Rebecca Krohn Kokinda is an experienced architectural professional currently serving as the Associate Director of the Office of Building Renovation and Exhibition Services at the Smithsonian Institution since April 2003. In this role, Rebecca also oversees the Project Management and Editorial Services division, focusing on the design and construction of significant public space projects and ensuring exemplary exhibition services for the National Museum of American History. Previously, Rebecca has held positions such as Head of Project Management & Editorial Services and Branch Chief/Design Manager, where responsibilities included leading multidisciplinary teams and managing capital design projects at major Smithsonian museums. Rebecca's early career includes roles as an Architect at Kvell Corcoran Associates and Architectural Designer at Weihe Design Group. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Catholic University of America.
