Sarah VanLandingham is an experienced project manager specializing in historic preservation and project coordination. Currently, Sarah manages a multi-phase $60 million artifact move contract for the Smithsonian Institution in support of the $650 million revitalization of the National Air and Space Museum. Previous roles include serving as an assistant project manager at the Smithsonian, where responsibilities encompassed stakeholder engagement, scheduling, and facilitating decision-making processes. Sarah's background also includes experience as a historic preservation specialist for the DC Government, evaluating building permit applications affecting historic sites, as well as roles in research and preservation with organizations such as Smart Growth America and the U.S. Green Building Council. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Barnard College.
