David Smith

David Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning several decades. Since 1988, David has served as the President of Smith & Associates, overseeing a tool engineering consulting business while also writing and editing technical engineering documentation. Prior to this, David held the position of Die Tryout Group Leader at Ford Motor Company from August 1965 to November 1988 and worked as a Diemaker at Western Electric from June 1959 to July 1965. Educationally, David earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Ohio University, following a High School Diploma from Zanesville High School.
