Hilary Strong

CMO at smol

Hilary Strong is the CMO at smol, a boutique brand consultancy. Hilary has over 20 years of experience in brand management and has worked with some of the world's biggest brands, including ESPN, Unilever, Diageo, Coca-Cola, and Pearson.

Hilary started their career as a Unilever Graduate Trainee in 1996 and worked their way up to Senior Brand Manager for Flora in 1999. In 2004, they were promoted to Global Brand Development Director for Knorr.

In 2008, Strong left Unilever to start the brandbean, where they served as Founder and Director for 12 years. During their time at the brandbean, they grew the company into a successful boutique brand consultancy with a long list of high-profile clients.

In 2020, Strong joined smol as CMO. Hilary is passionate about helping smol grow into a leading brand consultancy and is excited to use their expertise to help smol clients reach their full potential.

Hilary Strong studied business sustainability management at the University of Cambridge. Hilary also has a BSc in management and physiology from the University of Leeds. Hilary attended Alleyn's School in London and the University of Leeds.

A direct report to Hilary Strong is and Mihaela Mateescu - Head of Performance Marketing. Hilary Strong reports to Nick Green, Co-Founder. Hilary Strong works with Lee Rowley - CFO, Neil Campbell - Chief Growth Officer, and Alice Edwards - Head of Supply Chain.
