Lindiwe Mbatha (MBL) has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Lindiwe started their career at Edcon in 2007, where they held various roles including Senior Talent Acquisition Practitioner, (Acting) Talent Acquisition Manager, and Divisional Human Resources Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic solution generation, assessing and aligning HR practices to business needs, monitoring and evaluating HR plans, improving business unit performance, and providing expert advice on people management issues. Lindiwe also worked as the National Human Resources Manager at Pick n Pay from 2011 to 2012, where they set HR objectives for the division and provided an advisory service on HR matters to franchisees. Currently, they are employed at Smollan as a People Lead. Overall, Lindiwe has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent management, recruitment, and organizational performance improvement.

Lindiwe Mbatha (MBL) completed a Master of Business Leadership degree at UNISA - School of Business Leadership from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, in 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Human Resources Management from Vaal University of Technology. Before that, from 1995 to 1997, they completed a National Diploma in Human Resources Management at the same institution.
