Taryn Donaldson

Taryn Donaldson has a diverse work experience in the field of HR and talent management. Taryn started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Premier Personnel in 2003 and continued in that role until 2005. Taryn then joined Smollan as an HR Manager from 2006 to 2007, followed by a role as a Business Unit HR Manager from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they served as an Integrated Talent Manager at Smollan. After a brief period of self-employment as an HR Consultant from 2012 to 2016, they rejoined Smollan as an HR Executive from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Taryn holds the position of People Lead: Talent Africa at Smollan, which they have been serving since September 2017.

Taryn Donaldson completed the Senior Management Development Programme at USB Executive Development in 2018. Taryn also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Honours in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg in 2004-2005, and a Bachelor's Degree in Honours in Psychology from the same institution in 2002. Additionally, they completed the Professional Business Coaching Programme at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science), though the specific dates are unknown.
