Qi Li has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were a MSc Student and Researcher at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where they studied lithium ion batteries and published several articles. During this time, they were also a Research Assistant at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2015 to 2020, Li worked as a Doctoral Researcher and Project Engineer at Chalmers University of Technology, where they deepened their knowledge in building greener energy storage devices and led a team dedicated to lithium ion battery cell design. Currently, Li is a R&D Project Manager and Research Engineer at Smoltek, where they investigate chemical vapor deposition and CVD grown nanostructures.
Qi Li has an extensive education history. From 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Hainan University. Qi then obtained a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2012 and 2015. After that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Microtechnology and Nanoscience from Chalmers University of Technology from 2015 to 2018. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microtechnology and Nanoscience from Chalmers University of Technology from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in August 2020, they obtained a certification in Experimental Design (Design of Experiments, DoE) Basics from Coursera.
