Dishan Wijegooneratne

Dishan Wijegooneratne is a Senior Project Engineer with comprehensive experience in the construction and architecture sectors. Currently at Smoot Construction Company of Washington DC since January 2024, Dishan previously held the same title at Carmel Partners from November 2022 to December 2023 and worked as a Project Engineer at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company from December 2020 to November 2022. Early in the career, Dishan gained practical skills through internships at Alliance Architecture, Colimore Architects, and Aerolab LLC, focusing on architectural renderings, plan creation, and wind tunnel design. Dishan holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland, which was attended from 2015 to 2020.
