Matthew Faulkner

Matthew Faulkner is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Director of Photography at Smosh since February 2022, Matthew has also co-founded and leads productions at Moonrise Campout, an annual music and art festival initiated in June 2017. As the Founder and Lead Producer at BetaWave, established in September 2016, Matthew focuses on creating and producing visual narratives for various artists and brands, achieving billions of views. Previous roles include President of Punk Aristocrats, where Matthew led artist development, and positions in research and development at Slate Digital and as an Assistant Engineer at Rodeo Recording. Matthew's early experiences include working with bands as a bassist and contributing to recording sessions in various capacities. Education includes a Certificate in Recording Arts from Citrus College.
