Tan Peng Kuan

Mr Tan Peng Kuan is responsible for setting the strategy and direction for future urban mobility solutions, particularly in the areas of Electric Vehicles and Autonomous Vehicles. This will include vehicle platforms, energy infrastructure, digital platforms and other value-added services such as charging systems and fleet management systems.

Mr Tan was with ST Engineering for five years prior to joining SMRT. During his tenure, he held several key leadership appointments in local and international commercial businesses. Prior to ST Engineering, he was with MINDEF and SAF for 27 years where he held several Command and Staff appointments which gave him valuable experience in supply chain management, maintenance and engineering, and transportation.

Mr Tan holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science (1st Class Honours) from Imperial College of Science and Technology.
