Yung Keat Phua

Yung Keat Phua serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategic Finance and Group Treasury at SMRT Corporation Ltd since June 2023. Prior to this role, Yung Keat held several significant positions at ST Engineering, including Senior Vice President and Head of Finance for Land Systems, and Group Financial Controller for the same division from November 2018 to June 2023. Between June 2012 and November 2018, Yung Keat was Vice President of Sustainable Urban Development and Deputy General Manager and Financial Controller at Ascendas-Singbridge. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Finance and Investments at Singbridge International Singapore Pte Ltd, Assistant Manager of Corporate Development and Planning at Keppel Corporation Limited, Auditor at Deloitte, and Senior Officer in Enterprise Ecosystem Development at the Singapore Economic Development Board. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and participation in an Executive Program at Fudan University under the Singapore-China Premier Scholarship in 2018.
