Nick Shimon

Nick Shimon has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various roles. Nick is currently the Director of Finance at SMS Financial, LLC since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at Brophy Community Foundation from October 2020 to March 2021. Nick also served as the Director of Finance at Vista College Prep from July 2017 to October 2020. Nick has previous experience at American Express, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst from October 2015 to July 2017 and as a Financial Analyst from October 2012 to October 2015. Before that, they held positions at American Express as a Statistical Reporting Analyst from April 2011 to 2012 and as an Accounting Specialist from July 2010 to April 2011. Additionally, Nick had internships at E.B. Lane in 2009 and participated in a pathways program at McGladrey & Pullen in the same year, gaining valuable insights into accounting services.

Nick Shimon attended Drake University from 2006 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in Accounting/Management. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University, graduating in 2014.
