Josh Kretchman

Josh Kretchman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading information security initiatives. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Emergency Operations Program Manager at SMUD since August 2011, Kretchman oversees the Emergency Operations Program and coordinates incident response resilience functions. Previously, Kretchman held roles such as Information Security Operations Center (SOC) Supervisor and Security Architect at SMUD, where key contributions included enhancing threat detection and managing security solution implementations. Prior experience includes serving as Enterprise Security Manager at DST Output, overseeing the organization’s information security program, and founding Afford A Tech, a computer repair and installation business, while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
