Semyon Chernozubov P.e.

Semyon Chernozubov P.E. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in energy management systems and IT security. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Management System Engineer at SMUD since September 2019, Semyon specializes in upgrading and supporting the Energy Management System, critical infrastructure protection, and SCADA network support, while also providing 24x7 support for the Real Time Control Center. Prior to this role, Semyon worked at California ISO as a Senior Energy Management System Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting real-time grid operations and managing data exchanges with balancing authorities. Semyon's earlier career includes positions as an Associate Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer at the California Department of Water Resources and a firmware engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Semyon holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
