Trevor Foster

Trevor Foster, P.E. is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the mechanical engineering field. Currently serving as the Manager Thermal Transition at SMUD since July 2022, Trevor has held various roles including Principal Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Prior to SMUD, Trevor worked at EthosEnergy from August 2016 to July 2022 as Operations and Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer. Earlier experience includes positions at Phillips 66 as Rotating Equipment Engineer and Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, and an internship at Eaton Corporation as Operations Engineering Intern. Trevor began a career in construction as a Contractor's Apprentice at HomeCraft Builders from June 2006 to December 2012, specializing in custom homes and remodels. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
