Sven Segers

Sven Segers has had extensive work experience in the field of project management and coordination, with a focus on offshore wind turbine foundations. Sven started their career as a project manager at Willems nv staalconstructies in 1988 and held this position until 2006. In 2007, they joined Smulders Group as a senior project manager. Sven later took on the role of Manager of Projects/Coordinator Offshore windturbine foundations, where they were responsible for various notable projects, including DAN TYSK, Q10 Luchterduinen, GEMINI, HUMBER GATEWAY, and many others. As of 2017, Sven has been serving as the Project Director at Smulders Group.

Sven Segers has a diverse education history. In 1982 to 1985, they studied Mechanics/Engineering. In 1989, they pursued further education in Autocad. Sven also completed various training programs and certifications throughout their career. These include Turbo Management (Jeroen Busscher) at IFBD in 2017, GWO Offshore Certification at ISEC in 2015, NDV KEMA Offshore Wind Energy Seminar in 2013, and EN1090-1/2 Norm Introduction in 2011. Sven also attended a Master's in Business Administration program in 2011. Other training programs they participated in include Power Point, DSTV BGB/VOB-B German Construction Law, FIDIC Turnkey Project Management, Visual Welding Inspector, Time Management, Paint Inspector, Construction Skills Certification, Project Management KMO's, Risk Assessment, Project Management, Autocad 14, and Unicad - Steelfab CAD Engineering.
