Lorena Monsalves

Lorena was appointed Group Chief Communications Officer in November 2022. Lorena joined the Company in March 2023. Prior to joining Smurfit Kappa, she worked at International Airlines Group (IAG) as Head of Communications, holding several positions over a 12-year career. Her previous roles included Head of Corporate Communications at the largest Latin American airline group, LATAM Airlines, for 13 years. Before that she was a TV journalist, including a period as news editor for CNN (Chile) in London. Lorena holds a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
